This concert, a week before Thanksgiving, is bound to put you in the holiday spirit, with music by several of the finest Baroque composers:
- Choruses from Nun Danket Alle Gott, Georg Philipp Telemann
- Magnificat, Antonio Vivaldi
- “Jauchzet frolocket” from Christmas Oratorio, J.S. Bach
- Highlights from Messiah, George Frideric Handel
The Choral Union will be joined by the SIU Concert Choir for this performance, under the direction of Dr. Susan Davenport, Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music at SIU-C.
