Fall 2026 kickoff
The CU’s fall season will kick off with a Meet & Greet/”First Rehearsal” on Monday August 17th at 7:00 PM at Alto Vineyards (https://www.facebook.com/events/1573017894474320/).
At the gathering, Director Emerson Eads will announce the repertoire and accept registrations, then everyone will read through an a cappella piece which will be on th eprogram as well. It was a big hit last semester, so mark your calendars!
If you can’t make it, by all means come to Room 110 in Altgeld Hall on the the following Monday a bit before the 7:00 rehearsal, and you can register then.
The concert will be November 10th, with dress rehearsals on November 8-9

Choir geek? Just love to sing? The SIU Choral Union is a community choir made up of SIU students and community members from across Southern Illinois. The group gives one performance each semester, and rehearses once a week.
